General Manager & Azmira Director of Educational Services - Brittney has been with the Shoppe since 2012! She has been in Tucson since 2009, when she moved here to complete a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Conservation & Management. She is married and has 2 wonderful children, Ella & RJ. She has always had a passion for all animals and is a proud owner of 2 Great Danes, an Austrailian Shepherd, 2 Ball Pythons, 1 Carpet Python, 1 Blue Tongue Skink & 2 Honduran Curly Haired Tarantulas.

The Holistic Animal Care Shoppe of Tucson features only natural products to help ensure optimal health and happiness for your beloved pet. Locally owned by Dr. Lisa S. Newman, Ph.D., we are Tucson's original pet lover's club! Your trusted source for education and natural products for over 30 years. 

Now, when we say NATURAL, we mean natural; it's not just a sign or advertising ploy with us - it's a way of life! You will not find mass-marketed, over-hyped, under-performing products in our stores. Everything we sell has been tested firsthand by our trained staff and Dr. Newman herself! In other words, if it doesn't work for our own pets, we're not going to try to sell it to you!

Our founder and co-owner, Dr. Lisa S. Newman, Ph.D. is an internationally renowned natural pet care pioneer with a Ph.D. in Holistic Nutrition and industry innovator, author, educator of veterinarians and award-winning product formulator, including our featured line, Azmira Holistic Animal Care foods, supplements and remedies. Her ninth book, the critically-acclaimed Three Simple Steps to Healthy Pets: The Holistic Animal Care LifeStyle, with it's own A to Z section of over 800 solutions, is the foundation curriculum for the veterinary-based, Holistic Animal Care School of Japan, in Osaka.

FYI: The natural, holistic and organic pet food and remedy industry is one of the fastest growing segments in the country today. According to the January 2015 issue of Pet Product News, it has been gaining upwards of 15% annually for almost a half-decade. Dr. Newman helped create this current natural pet food 'revolution' as far back as the early 1980s!
